Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in guest services or front desk
- OR Associate degree in relevant field
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of safety and emergency protocols
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Flexibility to perform front desk duties during high demand
- Availability to work full time onsite at The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1 year experience in guest services or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with no work experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Knowledge of emergency and loss prevention procedures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems efficiently
- Proficiency in guest response tracking systems
Job Duties
- Manages day-to-day guest services and front desk operations
- Leads, influences, and encourages team members with integrity and professionalism
- Supervises employees and performs duties in their absence
- Handles guest complaints, disputes, and resolves grievances
- Supports implementation of guest recognition and service programs
- Conducts facility inspection tours for safety, security, and maintenance
- Provides exceptional customer service and maintains high visibility during peak times
