Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Must possess or be able to obtain first aid, AED, and CPR certification
- Keyboard speed of 25 words per minute
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Must be legally entitled to work in the United States
- Successfully pass background checks, drug screen, and physical examination
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Ability to obtain first aid, AED, and CPR certification promptly
- Keyboarding speed of 25 words per minute
- Familiarity with recreation computer applications such as RecTrac preferred
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Minimum one year customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Knowledge of Spanish or other languages preferred
Job Duties
- Perform reception and guest relations duties including selling passes, taking registrations, completing transactions, making reservations, and handling telephone calls
- Provide information and direct individuals to appropriate locations
- Schedule rooms and assist with rental requests
- Maintain and inventory supplies and displays
- Complete accurate cash, check, credit card, and gift card transactions and reconcile at shift end
- Sort and file correspondence and documents
- Assist with marketing materials and campaigns
- Monitor guest adherence to facility policies and report disruptive behavior
- Maintain records and manuals such as inventory, billing, receipts, memberships, and reservations
- Assist in scheduling and supervising community service workers and volunteers
- Serve on committees such as safety and special events
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility
- Provide standard first aid and use CPR or AED equipment in emergencies
