Job Description

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts is a globally recognized luxury hospitality company celebrated for its exceptional service and commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for its guests. Founded with the philosophy that people are the heart of great service, Four Seasons upholds the Golden Rule, treating others as they would like to be treated. This guiding principle fosters an environment of care, respect, and genuine connection, both for guests and team members alike. Known for its world-class employee environment and dedication to personal and professional growth, Four Seasons stands as a pillar of excellence in the hotel and resort industry.

The position of Guest Receptionist at Four Seasons specifically supports operations at Ravello, an upscale dining venue within the resort. This role is central to ensuring the smooth flow of front-of-house service by warmly welcoming guests and maintaining an inviting and organized reception area. As the first point of contact for diners, the Guest Receptionist plays a crucial role in setting an immediate tone of comfort and hospitality, contributing directly to the overall positive dining experience that guests expect from Four Seasons.

Beyond simple greetings, the Guest Receptionist is responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards in the reception and entrance areas and ensuring the safety and security of the restaurant and bar spaces. A key part of the role includes attentive recognition of guest special occasions or celebrations, helping to personalize the experience and make it memorable. The Guest Receptionist also provides guests with timely information about table availability, wait times, and upcoming events at Ravello and the wider resort.

Effective communication is vital, with this role serving as a liaison between guests and restaurant leadership. The Guest Receptionist must consistently update management on reservations, delays, cancellations, and specific guest requests or feedback. Using tools like Micros and OpenTable databases, the receptionist accurately records guest information and preferences, which supports seamless service delivery and enhances guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring experience from food and beverage environments, preferably with a minimum of one year in upscale dining settings. Familiarity with OpenTable system usage is also highly valued. The function demands a friendly, positive demeanor and a high level of professionalism, alongside strong organizational skills and flexibility under pressure. Fluency in English and legal authorization to work are required, with availability to work weekends, holidays, and particularly Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

This role offers an opportunity not only to work in a prestigious hospitality environment but also to be part of a supportive cultural atmosphere that values individuality and promotes diverse and inclusive engagement. Employees benefit from comprehensive learning and development programs designed to encourage ongoing professional growth. The Guest Receptionist position at Four Seasons provides a meaningful way to contribute to one of the world’s leading luxury hospitality brands while advancing one’s career in the industry.
