Job Requirements

  • Capable of standing and moving for extended periods
  • able to lift up to 30 lbs when necessary
  • must be available to work late nights and flexible hours
  • physically adept at bending reaching and twisting as needed
  • minimum wage salary expectations

Job Duties

  • Maintain an upbeat and professional demeanor reflecting establishment values
  • welcome and seat guests at tables or waiting areas with a smile
  • manage the waiting list and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
  • assign tables based on guests' preferences and ensure fair server rotation
  • provide menus or information about food and beverages to guests
  • organize booster seats or highchairs as required ensuring safety and functionality
  • act as a liaison between guests and serving staff by communicating needs effectively
  • answer phone calls promptly assisting with inquiries or transfers
  • handle reservation tasks professionally
  • keep the foyer and host station clean and organized including maintaining quality of menus
  • perform regular checks on restrooms to ensure cleanliness
  • maintain open communication with management regarding work-related issues or suggestions
  • carry out other related duties as assigned
