Job Duties
- Maintain an upbeat and professional demeanor reflecting establishment values
- welcome and seat guests at tables or waiting areas with a smile
- manage the waiting list and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
- assign tables based on guests' preferences and ensure fair server rotation
- provide menus or information about food and beverages to guests
- organize booster seats or highchairs as required ensuring safety and functionality
- act as a liaison between guests and serving staff by communicating needs effectively
- answer phone calls promptly assisting with inquiries or transfers
- handle reservation tasks professionally
- keep the foyer and host station clean and organized including maintaining quality of menus
- perform regular checks on restrooms to ensure cleanliness
- maintain open communication with management regarding work-related issues or suggestions
- carry out other related duties as assigned
