The supervisor plays an instrumental role in executing the campground's quality assurance and safety programs to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, the position requires accurate management of accounting functions, including cash handling, scheduling, reporting, and collaboration with department supervisors and upper management to address any operational deficiencies. This position also functions as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager (GM) and AGM, highlighting its importance in leading the campground team and ensuring seamless operations. Job Duties

  • Efficient operation of the campground by supervising and supporting guest services including front desk, store, recreation, night hosts, and guest guide teams
  • Communicate and correct deficiencies in departments by collaborating with departmental supervisors and AGM
  • Provide a high level of customer service while improving guest satisfaction and raising the net promoter score
  • Ensure all accounting functions at the campground follow OAK procedures including correct and accurate cash handling
  • Prepare reports as required relating to procedures, efficiency, scheduling, attendance
  • Coordinate with AGM and department heads to stay up to date with changes, issues, and improvements
  • Implement effective conflict resolution and critical thinking skills
  • Prioritize tasks based upon importance and urgency with thoughtful decision-making
  • Maintain composure and objectivity in high-pressure and fast-paced situations
  • Maintain property by following the quality assurance manual
  • Function as Manager on Duty in the absence of GM and AGM
  • Monitor and implement the department safety program ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
