Front Desk Representatives act as the first point of contact and ensure every guest’s requests and needs are fulfilled promptly and efficiently. They play a key role in managing guest complaints and service recovery, handling escalated issues with professionalism and care to improve guest satisfaction scores.\n\nAdditionally, the position involves managing the hotel's Loyalty program by delivering amenities to members at arrival and acting as a point of contact for all groups and meetings, coordinating with departments such as sales, front office, and reservations to monitor guest room blocks and special reservation needs. The Front Desk Representative is also responsible for confirming reservations, assigning VIP guests to rooms, and actively working with guest feedback to enhance the overall guest experience.\n\nThe role requires engaging in sustainable event coordination under the hotel’s EarthView program, demonstrating a commitment to the environment while maintaining high standards of safety and guest service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Five years of customer service experience or equivalent training required
- Knowledge of PMS systems preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend and reach
- Willingness to work on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts

Job Duties
- Greet, register and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner according to hotel brand and sustainability standards
- Manage the resolution process for all guest complaints and service recovery
- Point of contact for escalated complaints
- Manage loyalty program, including delivering amenities to members at arrival
- Point of contact for all groups and meetings
- Communicate with sales, front office and reservations to coordinate and monitor guest room blocks and special reservation needs
- Work to improve Guest Voice scores through rapport with clients and availability during conferences
- Register and assign VIP guests to hotel rooms
- Make and confirm reservations and respond to guest requests promptly
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing overall guest satisfaction and timely response to all outlets
- Coordinate multiple events per year following sustainability guidelines under the EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
