The Front Desk Receptionist & Guest Experience Lead role at Boost IV is far from a typical receptionist position. This full-time opportunity, scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, offers a guaranteed base pay of $26.00 per hour, with additional earning potential through tips, busy-day bonuses, and sales commissions that may increase income by approximately $4 to $8 per hour, depending on performance and clinic volume. The role demands a polished, sales-driven professional to lead the guest experience at the NW Portland store, ensuring every client interaction reflects the brand's commitment to premium service and hospitality. This position plays a critical role in membership conversions, client retention, revenue growth, and enhancing overall brand visibility.

The successful candidate will embody warmth, organization, and proactivity, confidently managing multiple responsibilities that blend hospitality, sales, front desk operations, light clinical support, and marketing assistance. Key responsibilities include greeting clients with professionalism and genuine care, managing appointment scheduling with accuracy, educating clients about services and membership options, and maintaining thorough client records for follow-up and retention. The Front Desk Receptionist & Guest Experience Lead will support seamless clinic flow, assist nurses within the clinical area with tasks such as chair turnover and IV removal when trained, and help maintain a clean, efficient facility.

Beyond client interaction, this role contributes to operational excellence by ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining organizational systems such as digital filing in Google Drive. The role also offers opportunities to support the brand's social media presence through content creation aligned with Boost IV standards, helping to engage the community via Instagram and other platforms while assisting in the design of branded materials. As a leader, the position supports onboarding and training new front desk staff, ensures operational manuals are current, and continually seeks ways to improve workflows, contributing to a smooth, polished, guest-ready environment daily.

Ideal candidates for this role are natural people persons with excellent communication skills, a strong sales aptitude, and the ability to remain calm and organized under pressure. Comfort with multitasking in a fast-paced client-facing environment is essential. Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram, Google productivity tools such as Drive, Docs, and Sheets, and design software like Canva is highly desirable. Experience with team communication apps such as Slack and salon/spa management software like Zenoti is considered a plus. Job Duties

  • Answer phone calls, texts, and emails promptly, warmly, and professionally
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Educate clients on Boost IV services, packages, and memberships
  • Greet and check in clients with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate client notes, preferences, and follow-up communication
  • Conduct post-visit follow-up by text or email to encourage retention and repeat visits
  • Proactively recommend memberships, packages, and relevant services
  • Help convert one-time visitors into recurring members
  • Follow up with leads and prior inquiries to help drive bookings and revenue
  • Assist nurses with chair turnover and maintaining a clean, efficient treatment space
  • Help remove IVs only as trained and in accordance with safety and sanitation protocols
  • Help support smooth communication between the front desk and treatment floor
  • Track and order front-of-house supplies and help maintain organized inventory
  • Create and verify superbills with the Naturopathic Doctor
  • Maintain organized digital files in Google Drive
  • Capture in-store photos, videos, and stories aligned with Boost IV brand standards
  • Assist with Instagram and other social media engagement
  • Help create light branded materials in Canva, such as signage, pamphlets, and business cards
  • Support onboarding and training of new front desk team members
  • Help maintain the front desk operations manual and improve workflows over time
  • Ensure the space stays clean, polished, and guest-ready each day
  • Help manage recurring operational tasks such as laundry coordination, sharps pickup, flower wall upkeep, and other front-of-house details
