Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by an independent franchisee operating a McDonald’s restaurant, separate from McDonald’s USA corporate. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s brand logos and food products but functions autonomously in all employment matters. This means the franchisee independently handles hiring, firing, staff supervision, scheduling, and employee discipline. Any applicant who accepts a position here will be employed by the franchisee, not by McDonald’s USA, which has no involvement or control over employment processes or decisions for this location. The franchisee’s commitment is to build a workplace culture that respects employees’ lives beyond work, empowering them to work to live, not just live to work. Named "WorkToLive," this company emphasizes creating an environment that fosters personal growth, balance, and meaningful life-building alongside employment.

At WorkToLive, the role in question is for a Guest Experience Leader in a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environment. This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time employment with flexible hours between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., enabling them to pursue their education or other ambitions concurrently. The Guest Experience Leader plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for customers by delivering exceptional service. They greet guests warmly, assist with ordering kiosks, ensure guests receive their orders promptly and satisfactorily, and respond promptly to any concerns or additional needs. The role further involves making every visit pleasant by engaging with customers, providing kid-friendly treats to young guests, and facilitating smooth communication between the guests and the restaurant team to encourage continuous improvement based on customer feedback.

This opportunity is not only a job; it is a chance to join a team that highly values energy, purpose, and a spirit of saying YES to learning new skills and creating enjoyable moments for guests. Employees at WorkToLive have access to numerous benefits that include competitive pay starting at $14 per hour, paid time off that accrues after 60 days of employment, customizable schedules promoting a healthy work-life balance, and bonuses such as referral and attendance incentives. Full-time employees qualify for health insurance encompassing vision and dental after 90 days, and specific education support programs are available, including tuition assistance and courses to complete high school or improve English language skills.

Moreover, every employee receives a free medium-sized extra value meal each shift and discounts on food nationwide through the McDonald’s Mobile App. The convenience of instant pay is also provided, enabling workers to access part of their earnings quickly to support their financial needs. WorkToLive is deeply committed to being America’s best first job, offering a supportive environment with room for growth, skill development, and financial benefits, making it an excellent place for those seeking meaningful part-time work that fits their life and ambitions.
