The Busser position at Logans Roadhouse is essential in creating a clean and pleasant dining environment for guests. The primary responsibility of the Busser is to clear, sanitize, and reset tables promptly to ensure smooth and efficient seating of new guests. This role also involves assisting servers by replenishing beverages and placing tableware and condiments, helping maintain a well-stocked and organized dining area. Bussers support the team by managing inventory of essential items like silverware, plates, napkins, and cups, and by reporting any damage, shortages, or guest complaints to management promptly.

In addition to the core duties in the dining area, the Busser helps with cleaning duties such as processing dirty dishes and silverware and tidying the restaurant after service to prepare for the next round of guests. Attention to detail is important as this role ensures that menus, crockery, and cutlery are clean and replenished between seatings. The position also requires some physical endurance, involving moving tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customer needs, as well as conducting restroom checks during shift hours.

Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment while providing excellent guest service and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Job Requirements

  • Successful completion of hourly position validations, including company-required training (safety, systems, menu)
  • Adheres to Logans Roadhouse Appearance Standards
  • Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications

Job Duties

  • Ensuring that tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset between seatings
  • Serving food and refilling beverages as required
  • Place tableware and condiments on tables
  • Assisting with the cleaning and processing of dirty dishes and silverware
  • Ensuring that the menus, crockery, and cutlery are cleaned and replenished between tables
  • Managing the inventory of napkins, straws, salt, pepper, and other table condiments and supplies
  • Reporting any damage, shortages and complaints to the manager
  • Moving tables, chairs and furniture to accommodate customers as needed
  • Tidying the restaurant after service and ensuring that it is prepped for the following service
  • Executes restroom checks as needed/required
