Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
- Physical ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Maintain mobility for the entire duration of scheduled shifts
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic retail setting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills including positive language and attentiveness
- Ability to multitask and manage guest interactions calmly in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with customer service or retail preferred but not required
- Basic proficiency with technology such as handheld scanners and radio communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests authentically to create a positive shopping atmosphere
- Understand guest needs through observation and interaction to tailor service
- Efficiently scan and bag guest items maintaining accuracy and food safety standards
- Communicate current store programs and promotions including loyalty benefits and app features
- Assist with returns and resolve guest concerns in compliance with company policies
- Support order pick-up, drive-up, and registry guest services accurately and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace throughout the shift
