Job Requirements

  • Ability to handle cash register operations and cash transactions accurately

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
  • engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their needs
  • be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store
  • thank guests in a genuine way to enhance their shopping experience
  • scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
  • work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining quality
  • make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches and store activities
  • promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with applications
  • explain features and benefits of the Target App
  • provide guidance on fulfillment services such as order pick-up and drive-up
  • handle returns accurately while partnering with leaders to resolve issues
  • assist in de-escalating negative situations following company policies
  • deliver service to all order pick-up, drive-up, and registry guests
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • stock supplies during store hours while available to guests
  • uphold a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
  • work safely and identify hazards
  • support compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding services such as adult beverage sales
  • perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
