Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
- capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures and elements
- ability to scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
- follow body language and verbal clues to tailor your approach
- engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
- thank the guest in a genuine way and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service, accuracy, and quality
- make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
- understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App
- be familiar with fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them
- attempt every return and partner with leaders as needed to solve for the guest while following policies
- partner with leaders to de-escalate negative situations and recover the shopping experience
- deliver easy and accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store open hours while being available for guests
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- work safely and identify and correct hazards
- support guest services including order pick up and drive-up orders while maintaining compliance with applicable laws
- perform all other duties based on business needs
