Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
- Ability to remain mobile throughout the duration of a shift
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic retail environment

- Strong communication skills including using positive language and attentive to guests needs
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- Ability to educate and engage guests around products and services
- Proficiency in operating handheld scanners, multiple frequency devices, and other technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service, accuracy, and quality
- Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
- Maintain a clean, clutter free work area
- Support guest services such as order pick up, drive up, and registry
- Partner with leaders to de-escalate negative situations and recover the guest shopping experience while following Target's policies
- Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work safely at all times, identify and correct hazards
- Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
