Job Requirements

  • Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and humidity
  • Capable of safely lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Reliable and prompt attendance
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong communication skills with ability to use positive language and be attentive to guest needs
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
  • Comfortable using handheld scanners, multiple frequency devices, and other technology as directed
  • Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role is a plus

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
  • Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
  • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
  • Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
  • Maintain a clean, clutter free work area including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers
