Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and humidity
- Capable of safely lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to use positive language and be attentive to guest needs
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
- Comfortable using handheld scanners, multiple frequency devices, and other technology as directed
- Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Experience working in a customer-facing role is a plus
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
- Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean, clutter free work area including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers
