Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in retail or customer service preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand and remain mobile for the duration of shifts
- capacity to handle merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting items up to 44 pounds
- accurate cash register operation and cash handling
- commitment to ethical conduct and safety compliance
- reliable and prompt attendance

Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
- engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experience
- thank guests genuinely and let them know they are appreciated
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately while following food safety standards and company best practices
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and quality
- promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- explain the benefits of loyalty programs and assist guests with applications or sign-up
- educate guests on using Wallet and other features within the Target App
- guide guests in enrolling, activating, and using fulfillment services
- process returns following register prompts and company policies, partnering with leaders when needed
- assist in de-escalating negative situations while following policies and procedures
- provide easy and accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while being available to guests
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work safely to benefit oneself and others, identifying and correcting hazards
- support guest services including compliance with laws for adult beverage sales
- perform other duties based on business needs
