Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
experience in customer service preferred but not required
ability to communicate effectively
willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
capability to stand and remain mobile for duration of shifts
ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
ability to accurately handle cash register operations
compliance with store safety and ethical policies

Job Duties

Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with immediate Leaders as needed to help solve for the guest while following Targets policies and procedures
support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up, and Registry guests while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws
maintain a clean, clutter free work area
work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others
all other duties based on business needs
