Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required
- ability to communicate effectively including using positive language
- welcoming and helpful attitude
- attention to detail and multi-tasking capability
- ability to operate communication devices and handheld scanners
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays
- reliable and punctual attendance
- capacity to handle cash register operations accurately
- physical ability to lift/move merchandise up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
- ability to remain mobile throughout the shift
- willing to work in varying temperature conditions

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- engage with guests in a genuine way including asking questions to better understand their needs
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining quality
- promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- assist guests with Target Loyalty programs and app features
- handle returns and follow register prompts in accordance with policies
- de-escalate negative situations and recover the guest shopping experience
- deliver accurate service to order pick up, drive-up and registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- work safely to benefit yourself and others
- support guest services such as order pick up and drive-up including compliance with relevant laws
- perform any other duties based on business needs
