Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is beneficial
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and remain mobile for the duration of a shift
- Physical capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Adherence to safety policies and ethical standards

Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests authentically
- Observe guests to understand their needs and tailor your approach accordingly
- Engage guests by asking questions to identify their specific requirements
- Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve guest issues
- Thank guests genuinely and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
- Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
- Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and events
- Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-ups
- Demonstrate usage of Target App features such as Wallet
- Direct guests on enrollment and use of fulfillment services
- Handle returns following register prompts and Target policies
- Partner with leaders to de-escalate negative situations
- Deliver service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- Stock supplies during store hours while assisting guests
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely to identify hazards and follow all safety policies
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local laws for specific duties
- Perform other duties based on business needs
