Job Requirements

- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and use positive language
- Willingness to maintain a welcoming and helpful attitude
- Capability to multitask and pay attention to details
- Familiarity or willingness to learn use of handheld scanners and technological devices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stay focused and calm in busy environments
- Accurate handling of cash transactions
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their specific needs
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve experience
- Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- Promote and assist with Target Loyalty programs and app features
- Handle returns and follow company policies to recover guest experiences
- Partner with leaders to de-escalate negative situations
- Deliver easy and accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- Stock supplies during store hours while being available for guests
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up, including adherence to legal compliance
- Perform all other duties based on business needs
