Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in customer service or retail environment preferred
  • Ability to handle cash and operate register systems accurately
  • Capability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to comfortably work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
  • Capacity to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • Engage with guests to understand and meet their specific needs
  • Operate cash register and manage cash transactions accurately
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently and in compliance with standards
  • Promote and provide information about Target Loyalty programs and app features
  • Assist with various guest services including order pick up, drive up, and gift registry
  • Partner with leaders to resolve guest issues and de-escalate negative situations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Stock supplies while being available to assist guests
  • Work safely and in compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Execute duties that comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Perform additional duties based on business needs
