Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
- physically capable of working in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently including lifting up to 44 pounds occasionally
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of the scheduled shift

Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
- engage with guests in a genuine way by asking questions to better understand their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experience
- thank guests genuinely and let them know we appreciate their choice to shop at Target
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service, accuracy, and quality
- make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store events, and activities
- know and promote benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment
- understand and demonstrate how to use Wallet and other Target app features
- be familiar with fulfillment services and guide guests in enrollment and activation
- process returns compliantly and seek Leader assistance as needed
- help de-escalate negative situations and recover guest experience following policies
- deliver efficient service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean, clutter-free work environment
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests
- uphold a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work safely to identify and correct hazards
- support guest services and maintain compliance with adult beverage laws
- perform other duties as required by business needs
