Job Requirements

  • Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
  • Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements during job duties
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds occasionally
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable and prompt attendance
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards
  • Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
  • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
  • Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App
  • Partner with Leaders to de-escalate negative situations and recover the guest experience
