Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- ability to handle checkout operations and support cash office functions as needed
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- able to remain mobile for the duration of the scheduled shift
- capable of working in varying environmental conditions including temperature and humidity
- reliable and prompt attendance necessary

Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- make guests aware of current promotions, store activities and events
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store and specific to assigned areas
- thank guests and let them know we appreciate their choice to shop at Target
- know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
- understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet
- be familiar with order pick-up, drive-up and online ordering and assist guests with enrollment, activation and use of these features
- attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with leaders as needed to resolve guest concerns within company policies
- maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal
- stock supplies during store open hours while remaining available for guests
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- work safely and comply with all safety policies, best practices and training and report hazards
- support guest services such as order pick-up, drive-up orders, and returns, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- perform other duties based on business needs
