Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand and remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance required
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Comfortable working in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- Authorization to work in the United States

- Ability to interact with guests in a welcoming and helpful manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Willingness to educate guests about products and services
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in cash handling preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
- Attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with immediate Leaders as needed
- Partner with Leaders as needed to de-escalate any negative situations and recover the guest shopping experience
- Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean, clutter free work area
- Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest
- Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others
- Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders and maintain compliance culture
- All other duties based on business needs
