Job Requirements
- Ability to handle cash register operations and cash transactions accurately
- capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions including exposure to outdoor elements
- ability to lift and move merchandise up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to remain mobile during entire shift duration
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- strong communication skills including positive language and attentiveness to guests needs
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- ability to multitask with attention to detail
- willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
- capable of operating handheld scanners and technology equipment
- ability to work independently and in a team
- ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest service experience by delivering service standards
- create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests authentically
- engage with guests to understand their specific needs and solve issues
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
- make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- assist guests with Target Loyalty program sign-up and explain app features
- deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- partner with leaders to resolve negative situations and recover guest experiences
- maintain clean and clutter-free work area including stocking supplies
- work safely and comply with safety policies
- support compliance with federal, state, and local laws especially for alcohol sales
- perform other duties as required based on business needs
