Job Requirements

Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up and carryout
Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and reliable and prompt attendance necessary
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
Attention to detail while multi-tasking
Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Job Duties

Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
Partner with Leaders as needed to de-escalate any negative situations and recover the guest shopping experience while following Target's policies and procedures
Support guest services such as order pick up and Drive-up orders, including Starbucks Drive-Up, and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties
