Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and move for the duration of shifts
- Capability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Basic proficiency with technology and handheld devices
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with company policies

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
- Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services to improve guest experience
- Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
- Assist guests with Target Loyalty program enrollment and sign-up
- Scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
- Show guests how to use the Target App including Wallet
- Support order pick up, Drive-Up orders, and returns
- Maintain a clean, clutter free work area
- Stock supplies during store hours
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work in a safe manner and comply with safety policies
- Handle checkout operations and support cash office operations
- Move and handle merchandise safely, including lifting
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local laws
