Job Requirements

Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
Ability to climb up and down ladders
Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting merchandise up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Reliable and prompt attendance
Capability to work in varying temperatures and conditions such as humidity and exposure outdoors
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills, including use of handheld scanners and technology devices
Attentive to detail and able to follow multi-step processes
Ability to remain composed and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Capable of lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
Comfortable climbing ladders and working in various environmental conditions
Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and safety practices

Job Duties

Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact and follow body language and verbal cues to tailor your approach
Engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their needs
Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience
Thank guests genuinely and express appreciation for shopping at Target
Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is stocked, zoned, and in stock
Push and stock product to the sales floor
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans
Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure accurate signing
Complete scans and system audits to ensure inventory accuracy
Support execution of major transitions and the Integrated Store Model (ISM)
Maintain interior and exterior brand standards including cleanliness and safety
Accurately execute pulls and backstock from all departments
Process inbound deliveries using the receive application
Complete backroom daily and weekly audits
Operate power equipment if certified
Maintain backroom organization and follow equipment guidelines
Follow processes with attention to detail while monitoring and prioritizing tasks
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
Work safely and identify and correct hazards
Support guest services including back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up
Perform all other duties based on business needs
