Job Requirements

Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
Ability to climb up and down ladders
Physical capability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, lifting up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Reliable and prompt attendance
Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
Ability to remain mobile and active for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and effectively
Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks
Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact and tailor your approach
Engage with guests in a genuine way by asking questions to understand their needs
Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve guest issues
Thank guests genuinely and express appreciation for choosing Target
Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
Work in all departments ensuring sales floor is full, zoned, and stocked
Push and stock product to sales floor
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans
Conduct weekly price changes and ensure accurate signing
Complete scans and system audits to ensure inventory accuracy
Support major store transitions and In-Store Merchandising (ISM)
Maintain store brand including cleanliness and safety
Accurately execute product pulls and process inbound deliveries
Complete daily and weekly backroom audits
Operate power equipment if certified
Maintain backroom organization and adhere to equipment guidelines
Follow processes with attention to detail and prioritize tasks
Uphold a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
Work safely to prevent hazards and comply with safety policies
Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up
Perform other duties as required based on business needs
