Job Requirements

Age 18 or older
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Capable of handling cash register operations
Ability to climb ladders safely
Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds frequently
Ability to occasionally lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds without assistance
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Reliable and prompt attendance
Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
Capacity to remain mobile throughout the shift
Ability to communicate using handheld scanners and technology
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required
Strong communication skills
Ability to operate handheld scanners and multi-frequency communication devices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math skills for cash handling
Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
Positive attitude and genuine interest in guest service

Job Duties

Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
Engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their needs
Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve experience
Thank guests in a genuine way and show appreciation for shopping at Target
Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned, and stocked
Push and stock product to sales floor
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans for all departments
Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure signing accuracy
Complete scans and system audit functions for inventory accuracy
Support execution of major transitions and ISM
Maintain interior and exterior store brand, including upkeep duties
Accurately execute all product pulls and backstock
Process inbound deliveries using receiving application
Complete all backroom daily and weekly audits
Operate power equipment if certified
Maintain backroom organization and equipment guidelines
Follow processes accurately, monitor progress, and prioritize tasks
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance at all times
Work safely and correct hazards
Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick up, and drive-up
Perform all other duties as needed based on business needs
