Job Requirements

Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment

Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
Climb up and down ladders
Safely lift and move merchandise up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Reliable and prompt attendance
Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Basic knowledge of retail operations and inventory management
Proficient in using handheld scanners and technology devices
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Capability to handle fast-paced work environments
Experience with cashier operations is beneficial

Job Duties

Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
Engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to understand their specific needs
Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available to solve guest issues and improve experience
Thank the guest genuinely and express appreciation for choosing Target
Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock
Push and stock product to sales floor
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions and sales plans for all departments
Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure accurate signing for all departments
Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy
Support execution of major transitions and ISM
Maintain interior and exterior brand including cleanliness and safety
Accurately execute all pulls and backstock products from all departments
Process all inbound deliveries using receive application
Complete all backroom daily and weekly audits
Operate power equipment if certified
Maintain backroom organization and equipment guidelines
Follow processes accurately, monitor own progress and prioritize tasks
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
Work safely to benefit self and others
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up
Perform other duties based on business needs
