Job Requirements

- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely
- Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures and humidity
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Capability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and systems
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
- Ability to handle cash register operations when needed
- Certification to operate power equipment if applicable
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
- Engage with guests in a genuine way by asking questions to understand their needs
- Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues
- Thank guests genuinely and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
- Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned, and stocked
- Push and stock product to sales floor
- Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans
- Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure accurate signing
- Complete scans and system audits for inventory accuracy
- Support execution of major transitions and ISM
- Maintain interior and exterior brand standards including cleanliness and maintenance
- Accurately execute product pulls and backstock from all departments
- Process inbound deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy
- Complete all backroom daily and weekly audits
- Operate power equipment if certified
- Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy
- Follow processes with attention to detail and prioritize tasks accurately
- Demonstrate ethics, safety, and compliance culture
- Work safely and identify hazards
- Support guest services including back-up cashier and order pick up
- Perform all other duties as needed based on business requirements
