Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience in business, consulting, sales, startups, or customer-facing roles
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable initiating conversations with new people
- Highly organized with strong eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in startups, AI, B2B, or building innovative solutions from the ground up
- Willingness to work in-person/hybrid in San Francisco

- Internships or project experience in sales, consulting, VC, startups, or student-led organizations
- Experience with outbound efforts, customer interviews, or event outreach
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Notion, or LinkedIn
- A builder mindset demonstrated through projects, clubs, or other entrepreneurial activities
Job Duties
- Collaborate with founders to drive Wayo’s go-to-market strategy
- Identify and research potential customers in startups, marketing, events, HR, and operations
- Support outbound marketing efforts through email, LinkedIn, and events
- Participate in customer calls, demos, and discovery sessions to learn consultative selling techniques
- Prepare customized demos, proposals, and follow-ups for prospective clients
- Engage with clients in Wayo’s downtown San Francisco swag sample room to offer a memorable sales experience
- Represent Wayo at trade shows, conferences, dinners, and community events
- Assist in organizing Wayo events in San Francisco to foster relationships with customers, partners, and the startup community
- Record and track pipeline activity, event outcomes, and customer insights in HubSpot
