With a deep commitment to innovation and guest satisfaction, Valencia Hotel Group fosters an environment where employees are empowered to exceed expectations and contribute to the company's ongoing success.

The Group Sales Manager role at Cavalry Court & The George is vital in driving revenue growth and occupancy within the property. This position focuses primarily on maximizing the potential of the Group Market Segment, including rooms, food and beverage, and meeting spaces. The Group Sales Manager is responsible for direct selling and coordinating meetings and meal functions for corporate clients, particularly those in the oil and gas industry, which is a significant market segment in the region. The role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele, develop new business leads, and foster strong relationships that ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

The Group Sales Manager acts as the key liaison between the hotel and its clients, ensuring smooth communication and coordination with various hotel departments to deliver flawless service. This role sometimes requires working evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules and event requirements.

Physical requirements for the job include standing and walking extensively, as well as the ability to handle sales materials and occasionally lift objects like luggage or files. The working environment includes exposure to outdoor weather conditions as well as typical office settings within the hotel. This reflects the dynamic nature of the role, which combines fieldwork, client interactions, and administrative duties.

Success in this role requires a detailed-oriented and customer-focused approach combined with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Group Sales Manager will execute rate negotiations, manage contracts, track business performance by market segments, and actively participate in community and industry events to promote the hotel’s offerings. This role contributes significantly to the hotel’s financial success and reputation by meeting or exceeding revenue goals and providing exceptional client service.
