Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of hotel sales experience focusing on large group accounts
  • Proficiency with CI/TY or similar sales platforms
  • Proven success managing citywide and association group accounts
  • Strong skills in negotiation and closing large contracts
  • Ability to work full-time onsite at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa
  • Excellent organizational and relationship-building skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years hotel sales experience with a focus on large group accounts
  • Demonstrated history of booking and managing citywide, association, or corporate group accounts
  • Proficiency in Marriott’s CI/TY group sales platform
  • Strong negotiation and contract-closing skills
  • Experience managing defined geographic sales territories
  • Ability to independently prospect and develop new business
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Manage and grow group sales accounts with a focus on large group bookings
  • Develop and maintain a proactive sales pipeline within a defined geographic territory
  • Independently prospect, qualify, and develop new group accounts
  • Negotiate and close complex contracts for citywide, association, and corporate groups
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies
  • Report sales forecasts and performance metrics to senior management
