- Process all room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or email
- Identify guest reservation needs and determine suitable room type and availability
- Explain policies related to guarantees, special rates, and cancellations to callers
- Attend to and document special requests from guests
- Respond to inquiries about hotel facilities, services, and room accommodations
- Implement sales techniques to maximize revenue
- Communicate information regarding VIP reservations
- Access and input data into the reservation system
- Address and resolve reservation-related difficulties by liaising with appropriate personnel or departments
- Monitor accuracy of room blocks and reservations
