This full-time position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule and is centered around ensuring the physical upkeep and aesthetic appeal of the community grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal. This person plays a crucial role in supporting the service team by maintaining cleanliness, performing minor repairs, and assisting in the preparation of vacant units for new residents.\n\nKey responsibilities include the constant inspection of the property to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, ensuring all common areas remain neat and welcoming. The Facilities Technician is also responsible for trash removal within vacant apartments before unit make-ready processes begin, maintaining storage areas, and completing minor service requests as directed by supervisors. Security duties such as changing locks according to policy and ensuring pool gates meet safety standards are also necessary. This role requires active communication with residents and staff, distribution of notices, identification of hazards, and participation in safety training. Job Requirements

- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

- Capable of pushing, pulling, lifting weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance

Job Duties
- Inspects community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure common areas and amenities are neat and litter-free
- Removes trash and items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process, transfers trash to dumpster or storage area, and maintains storage areas
- Completes assigned minor and routine service requests
- Assists make-ready specialist in the turn process
- Changes all locks per property policy and ensures pool gates operate according to safety codes
- Distributes notices and communications to residents
- Reports hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors
- Demonstrates customer service skills by interacting respectfully with residents and responding to maintenance complaints
- Complies with safety and risk-management policies by attending meetings, completing required training, and reporting incidents promptly
