Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule with rotational on-call duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license to operate on-site vehicles such as golf carts
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to the make-ready process and maintain storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by supervisors and assist in the turn process
- Change all locks per property policy and ensure pool gates comply with safety standards and codes
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Report any hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect, answering questions, and responding to maintenance complaints sensitively
