Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule with rotational on-call duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license to operate on-site vehicles such as golf carts
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
  • Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to the make-ready process and maintain storage areas
  • Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by supervisors and assist in the turn process
  • Change all locks per property policy and ensure pool gates comply with safety standards and codes
  • Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
  • Report any hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors
  • Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect, answering questions, and responding to maintenance complaints sensitively
