The Groundskeeper is also responsible for general landscaping duties such as mowing grass, watering flowers, and keeping the property free of trash and debris, including animal waste. Additionally, this role assists with apartment turnovers, ensuring that each apartment is presented at its best prior to new resident move-in. The position requires a hands-on approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards as well as assisting in minor repairs or notifying maintenance supervisors about issues requiring further action.

This position demands physical stamina as the employee must be able to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for up to eight hours a day, including lifting up to 50 pounds. The Groundskeeper must be proficient in the use of various hand and power tools and must be able to communicate effectively in English.
