Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Weekend availability
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting and moving furniture
- Relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living preferred
- Ability to work from Saturday to Wednesday, 8:30am to 5pm
- Willingness to participate in preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to comply with company policies and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, reaching, and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work weekends
- Commitment to the company mission of kindness and integrity
Job Duties
- Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas, including carpet and furniture cleaning, window cleaning, removal of trash, and upkeep of vinyl floors as assigned
- Clean grounds and remove litter, using spike stick, broom or blower
- Assist in maintaining all grounds, buildings, apartment homes and equipment
- Prepare apartments for move-in and complete refurbishing of units after move-out as assigned
- Maintain the grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance, and garbage removal as assigned
- Implement and document preventative maintenance programs for community and equipment as assigned
- Perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, reaching and carrying, and standing for extended periods
