Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED diploma
- must be at least 18 years old
- one year of customer service, volunteer or sales experience
- complete fluency in written and spoken English
- complete AI- or statistically-based assessment evaluating adaptability, safety orientation, and teamwork
- must adhere to JetBlue Uniform Policy Manual standards
- able to travel and/or work variable hours including holidays and weekends
- able to follow safety guidelines
- able to perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints
- able to work in all types of weather
- able to make occasional trips to other locations for training or temporary assignment
- must be able to give and receive verbal communication
- must be able to use handheld radios and headsets
- must maintain positive attitude
- able to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally
- must acquire and maintain valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- may need to acquire and maintain United States Customs Clearance depending on location
- must possess and maintain valid Driver's License and driving record meeting JetBlue insurance standards
- available for overnight travel 10 percent of the time
- must pass 10 year background check and pre-employment drug test
- must be legally eligible to work in the US

Job Duties
- Operate ground service equipment which includes motor vehicles, tugs, and elevated de-icing equipment
- service aircraft by operating ground service equipment including potable water truck, ground power unit, tug, aircraft pushback, lavatory truck, deicing truck
- work in a ramp environment
- tag, lift, load and unload customer bags including those in excess of 100 lbs from baggage compartments and baggage system
- operate external aircraft equipment
- help prepare cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories
- assist customers with special needs such as boarding assistance
- guide aircraft to and from parking locations
- communicate using handheld radios with proper radio etiquette
- assist with loading and unloading mail, small packages, and human remains
- ensure and maintain a safe environment and operation
- perform other duties as assigned
