Job Description
JetBlue Airways Ground Operations Crew at Boston Logan International Airport is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team. The Ground Operations Crew plays a vital role in ensuring efficient aircraft operations by handling customer baggage, operating ground service equipment, and providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic airport environment. This position requires individuals who are adaptable, customer-oriented, and able to work effectively in various weather conditions.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year of customer service or sales experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Complete fluency in written and spoken English
- Candidates must complete an assessment evaluating job qualifications/characteristics like Adaptability, Safety Orientation, and Teamwork using AI- or statistically-based scoring
- Must adhere to JetBlue Uniform Policy Manual Standards
- Able to travel/work variable hours, flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends
- Follow safety guidelines
- Perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints
- Work in all types of weather conditions
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Handle objects up to fifty (50) pounds frequently and seventy to one hundred (70-100) pounds occasionally
- Acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the country
- Authorization to work in the US
- Good standing in attendance performance and safety for internal candidates
