Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six months experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment
- Understanding of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks
- Good physical condition to handle mechanical equipment
- Willingness to work various shifts as required
- Compliance with company internal mobility and residency policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of six months experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment
- Knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines as applied to industrial powered systems
- Experience as a semi-skilled industrial maintenance mechanic
- Ability to perform inspections minor troubleshooting repairing removing and replacing machinery components
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to effectively report issues to supervision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on passenger loading bridges interior and exterior painting including bulb and lens replacement
- Inspect and maintain air handler hoses adapters air filters condensate pans and indicator bulbs and lenses
- Repair gear boxes bearings shafts roller replacements belt re-lacing and belt replacements
- Operate and maintain baggage handling system control rooms reconcile bag jams to keep BHS flowing
- Maintain ground power cables and associated clamping saddles
- Service stationary equipment such as water cabinets loading bridges air handling systems baggage conveyor systems and 400 Hz gate power
- Conduct small component repair and build-up of non-specialized components on specialized equipment like air conditioning adapters water cabinet adapters baggage carousel bumpers and dock light controllers
