Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience required
Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required
Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
Must have the desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Basic computer skills required
Cash handling experience required
Must be physically capable of standing continuously, walking frequently, lifting and carrying weights up to 50 lbs frequently, occasionally lifting heavier weights, pushing/pulling items frequently, climbing/balancing frequently, stooping/squatting occasionally, kneeling occasionally, bending and twisting frequently, grasping and manipulating objects frequently, and performing manual dexterity tasks occasionally

Job Qualifications

Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience
Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
Must possess the desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
Ability to provide fast, easy, efficient, and professional service
Demonstrate good common sense, logical thinking, and basic mathematical aptitude
Motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule including holidays and weekends
Basic computer skills and cash handling experience
Proficiency using general office equipment

Job Duties

Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with the store's customers
Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately
Perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout, including visual inspection for product tampering
Perform receipt checking by verifying cart content versus purchases as customers leave the store
Perform store opening and/or closing functions at the front end based on assigned shift
Increase sales and manage shrinkage on the sales floor through customer assistance and product knowledge
Assist in receiving inventory shipments, maintaining and stocking shelves, ensuring proper product rotation and quality audits
Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled, including blaster tagging and applying appropriate labels
Replenish sales floor daily by down stocking freight from top stock using reach trucks and pallet jacks
Assist with price changes as directed by Pricing Lead and Store Management
Participate in inventory and cycle count processes as needed
Ensure the facility is a safe environment by following safety policies, maintaining cleanliness of sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, and store entry area
Gather carts from parking lot and cart corrals, ensuring all are clean and operable
Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management
