Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- valid driver’s license number for car delivery
- social security number if residing in the US
- consistent access to a smartphone
- reliable vehicle, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- successfully complete ID verification
- ability to lift and carry delivery items safely
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in delivery or customer service is a plus but not required
- valid driver’s license if delivering by car
- familiarity with smartphone apps and navigation tools
- strong communication skills
- ability to manage time effectively and work independently
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants or stores and deliver them promptly to customers
- manage delivery schedules and routes effectively to maximize efficiency
- maintain communication with customers and support team as needed
- ensure orders are handled with care and customers receive accurate items
- adhere to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines
- update delivery status promptly through the DoorDash app
