Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a restaurant or banquet setting preferred
- must have or be able to obtain appropriate food handling certifications
- able to obtain current alcohol service certifications and training preferred
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations
- basic knowledge of food and beverage items
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
- good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- present menus answer questions and make recommendations on food and beverage items
- take accurate orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff
- serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
- monitor guests' needs and promptly address any requests or concerns
- clear and reset tables between courses and after meals
- prepare tables for service including setting up linens silverware and glassware
- assist with the setting up and breakdown of banquet rooms for events
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and banquet areas
- process payments handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure seamless service during events
- handle special dietary requests and accommodate guests with allergies
- perform side work and cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor
