Job Description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Food and Beverage team. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—with an hourly starting pay of $14.00 plus tips. The role is designed not only to deliver exceptional customer service but to help promote, expand, and enhance special events and outings held at the golf course facilities. This means being at the front lines, welcoming guests, assisting with event setups, and ensuring smooth coordination between food service and event staff.

In this role, you will serve a variety of clientele that come to enjoy recreational golfing, banquets, weddings, and corporate functions. Your responsibilities will range from greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages to managing special dietary requests while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. You will also assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring that tables are properly set with linens, silverware, and glassware, while maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a restaurant or banquet setting preferred
  • must have or be able to obtain appropriate food handling certifications
  • able to obtain current alcohol service certifications and training preferred
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage items
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
  • good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • present menus answer questions and make recommendations on food and beverage items
  • take accurate orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff
  • serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
  • monitor guests' needs and promptly address any requests or concerns
  • clear and reset tables between courses and after meals
  • prepare tables for service including setting up linens silverware and glassware
  • assist with the setting up and breakdown of banquet rooms for events
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and banquet areas
  • process payments handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure seamless service during events
  • handle special dietary requests and accommodate guests with allergies
  • perform side work and cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor
