At The Stand, the Line Cook role is critical in delivering a consistently exceptional dining experience. Line Cooks at The Stand will find themselves cross-trained in multiple kitchen stations, including salads, fry, grill, and expo, gaining broad culinary exposure and skills enhancement. Responsibilities center around preparing menu items according to precise build guides and recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, adhering strictly to safety and sanitation protocols, and addressing any special guest requests promptly and professionally. While chef knife skills are a valued plus, the essential requirement is a commitment to maintaining excellence and timeliness in food preparation under a fast-paced, team-driven atmosphere.

The work environment demands physical stamina with frequent walking and standing for extended periods, repetitive bending, reaching, stooping, and safe handling of kitchen equipment. The ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds, exposure to varying temperatures including steam and refrigerated conditions, and occasional usage of step ladders feature in the daily routine. This role requires flexibility to work the dinner shift from 4 PM until closing, with mandatory availability on weekends, reflecting The Stand's commitment to serving its guests consistently during peak hours.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
