The Grill Line Cook will be responsible for setting up the kitchen line with the required tools and ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout their shift, and ensuring that food items meet quality and safety standards from preparation to plating. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, particularly in grilling techniques, and will demonstrate creativity, precision, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent time management skills, a commitment to food safety, and the physical stamina to handle the demands of a busy kitchen. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
  • Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds

Job Duties

  • Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Preparing and cooking food especially grilled items
  • Ensure food is cooked to the correct doneness and temperature
  • Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
  • Follow all food safety regulations
  • Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management
