The current opportunity opens the door for seasonal Cooks to join Yellowstone General Stores, one of the company’s unique operations located within the majestic Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Yellowstone General Stores are spread across various key locations within the park such as Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. Working here allows employees not only to contribute to a world-class hospitality service but also to immerse themselves in one of America's most iconic natural landscapes. With access to over 1000 miles of hiking trails, stunning waterfalls, and fascinating hydro-thermal features like geysers and hot springs, the work environment is truly unmatched.
This position is seasonal and offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.25. The role involves preparing and cooking grilled menu items following standardized recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Cooks at Yellowstone General Stores play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of both the kitchen and grill station, effectively using kitchen equipment, and keeping workstations organized and well-stocked. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

- capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines ensuring quality taste and presentation meet company standards
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grill station and surrounding areas
- set up operate and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures as well as keep workstations clean organized sanitized and sufficiently stocked
- work cooperatively with team members and management
- follow the supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures
- other duties as assigned
