Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience with flat top grill, baking and frying required
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation required
  • ability to work Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm
  • ability to perform physical tasks involving standing and carrying food pans
  • reliable and punctual
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to follow federal, state and corporate food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous flat top grill experience
  • prior baking experience
  • prior frying experience
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation
  • ability to take and complete orders accurately
  • experience using approved recipes and production standards
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation
  • complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations
  • serve customers efficiently and friendly following established steps of service
  • ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • taste all prepared food items
  • use established ticket-collection procedures during service
  • keep records from area worked during service periods
  • use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control
  • carry pans, kettles and trays of food following safety standards
  • store foods using standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures
  • clean, sanitize and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils
  • resolve customer concerns and report relevant issues to supervisor
  • attend in-service and safety meetings
  • maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • perform other duties as assigned
